gfu has completely redesigned and optimized its website at www.gfu.de.
Additional sections have been added to cover new topics, and the English language version of the website will be significantly expanded in the future. For example, selected press releases are now also available in English.
Just as before, our website provides you with up-to-date and comprehensive information about gfu, our partners, and the consumer & home electronics industry, including current market figures, study results and infographics. All gfu press releases can be found in the Media Center, the new section for media representatives. If you are interested in receiving regular updates, please register for the gfu Newsletter.
Together with Messe Berlin, gfu organizes the IFA, and there is now a separate section dedicated to this event. You’ll find facts and figures about the world’s most important trade fair for consumer electronics and home appliances, IFA trends, and the latest product highlights, published shortly before the event begins. Retrospectives will be published after each event, and you’ll also find a detailed history of the IFA in this section.
Our well-known gfu Pocket Guides have been updated along with our new website: While these concise market overviews were originally intended as shopping guides to be taken with you in your (jacket) pocket, they now appear only online and have been renamed to be Tech Guides. You’ll find these Tech Guides in their own new section of our redesigned website. They are much easier to navigate too – you can jump to specific chapters to get the information you need. All 30 Tech Guides are now downloadable as PDF files. Of course, the value and breadth of the Tech Guides remains unchanged: As brand- and system-neutral guides that are packed with explanations and tips, they are ideal for exploring all the technologies and products available in the consumer and home electronics market.
“Insights & Trends”, gfu’s most important innovation forum, has been given its own section. You can find all the information you need about these events, held regularly in the lead-up to the IFA in mid-July in Berlin. In addition to the program, you can also view past presentations covering the results of various gfu studies and discussions about current consumer-relevant topics by industry experts.
