With sales of just under 30.5 billion euros, the consumer electronic segment in 2020 shows a large increase of 9.9 per cent compared to 2019. In particular, the segment of IT products for private use developed extremely positively, growing by 23.9 per cent to just under 8.5 billion euros. Private telecommunications devices grew by 4.5 per cent to just under 12.7 billion euros. In addition to smartphones, this was primarily due to renewed growth in core wearables (+20.4 per cent in sales). The consumer electronics segment reached 9.3 billion euros in sales, an increase of 6.3 per cent.
