The German market for technical consumer goods (TCG) is expected to stabilize moderately in 2026 and 2027. Following a period of stagnation in 2025, during which market volume remained virtually unchanged, it seems that a nominal revenue increase of 3.2 percent, to approximately 96 billion euro, can be projected for 2026 and 2027. However, this development will come about in two steps: While growth in 2026 will be slowed down to a modest 1.0 percent by a complex interplay of macroeconomic challenges, 2027 is set to see a return to a 2.1-percent market growth. The TCG industry in Germany will thus stabilize at a low level by the end of 2027. This subdued upward trend is the result of juggling profound geopolitical risks on the one hand and selective demand stimuli on the other \u2013 factors that increasingly complement traditional, rational consumer behavior.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n
