Following a year marked by the pandemic in 2020 and the resulting exceptionally high demand for home electronics products, the market continued to develop positively overall in 2021 – albeit at a weaker level. The current Home Electronics Market Index for 2021 as a whole shows sales growth in the consumer electronics and electrical household appliances product categories. Overall, the home electronics market has grown by 3.1 percent to more than EUR 49 billion in 2021.
