ENA 5: Stylish coffee enjoyment for every moment

With the FC 8 Smart Signature Line, Kärcher presents the latest flagship in the area of floor cleaners. It easily picks up dry and wet everyday dirt in a single step and at the same time thoroughly mops the floor. Thanks to the economical use of water when cleaning, it is suitable not only for robust hard floors such as tiles or PVC, but also for sensitive floors such as laminate and parquet. With its intelligent app connection and the user-friendly LCD display, the cleaning parameters can be set exactly to individual requirements.

Customised cleanliness

The LCD display on the handle forms the core of the model and enables intuitive control of all functions. In addition to the three standard modes – less water, average amount of water and Boost mode for stubborn dirt – individual settings allow adjustment of the water quantity and roller speed for individual rooms or floor coverings. This as well as predefined modes, e.g. for tiles, PVC or sealed parquet, can be selected via the practical app and transferred to the device via Bluetooth. The display also supports the users during setup and removal with step-by-step instructions. If anything is unclear or in the event of errors, the device provides immediate feedback, whereby error sources are minimised and operating safety is increased.

All-inclusive package

The proven Kärcher roller technology as well as the two-tank system ensure deep and comfortable cleaning. The four rollers are continually moistened with fresh water and detergent from the generously sized 400 ml fresh water tank, while the collected dirty water and coarse dirt are removed from the roller by a scraper edge and stored in a separate dirty water tank. Thanks to the low weight as well as the counter-rotating rollers, the floor cleaner is easy to manoeuvre and is particularly quiet during operation. A drive located in the centre at the bottom part also enables cleaning right to the edge. Thanks to the pivoting joint on the cleaner, low-lying areas under furniture or steps can also be reached. The LED lights on the head also make it easier to spot dirt in dark corners. The model has two removable hair filters, which facilitate the absorption of dirt such as pet hair. The FC 8 Smart Signature Line has a run time of 60 minutes. For instance, an area up to 230 square metres in size can be mopped per battery charge.

If the cleaning task has to be interrupted, the device can be easily parked in the room thanks to the free-standing design. Once cleaning is complete, the rollers can be cleaned in the practical self-cleaning programme in the cleaning station or in the washing machine at 60°C. In addition to the parking and cleaning station, the floor cleaner set also includes a universal detergent. The device comes with four universal rollers as standard.

One app for all residents

The relevant app provides comprehensive support from the initial setup of the device through to useful cleaning tips. By registering the device in the app, different users in the same building can save their individual settings and access cleaning statistics.
