Designing the digital home smart and future-proof with FRITZ!

At IFA 2024, everything at the new large AVM stand in Hall 10.2 will revolve around fiber optics, 5G, Wi-Fi Mesh with Wi-Fi 7 and Smart Home. AVM is expanding its fiber optic portfolio and will offer FRITZ!Box models for all common standards in the future. The new FRITZ!Box 5690 XGS, for example, is already designed for 10 gigabit-fast connections in XGS-PON networks. The 10 Gbit/s LAN and four 1 Gbit/s LAN ports allow the fiber optic speed to be optimally distributed in the home. The FRITZ!Box 5690 XGS has a 4×4 configuration and achieves data rates of up to 7.1 Gbit/s in the Wi-Fi. Thanks to the full range of features familiar from FRITZ!Box for telephony, smart home via DECT ULE and networking, the fiber optic gateway is ideal for all digital applications at home.
AVM will also be presenting other new FRITZ!Box models for fast fiber optic connections at IFA, as well as new products for Wi-Fi Mesh in accordance with the new Wi-Fi 7 standard. AVM is also expanding its smart home portfolio and addressing the area of smart metering. IFA visitors can experience all the products live in Hall 10.2 and are invited to take part in the AVM competition with attractive prizes. All new products will be presented on September 3.
